English Estate is Vancouver, Washington's first winery. It's founder, Carl English, first planted grapes in 1980 on land his family has owned since 1903. The winery and tasting room opened to the public in 2000. The winery grows Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinor Gris, Semillon, and Gevurstraminer on its 20 acre farm and produces fruit forward wines and nectars.
