North County Wine Run
The third annual North County Wine Run is scheduled for Saturday September 21, 2013 and will benefit the Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation.
Over the past decade, Clark County has become Washington's newest emerging wine region, with growth concentrated in the Battle Ground and Ridgefield areas. The North County Wine Run offers runners and walkers the opportunity to experience this beautiful region through a half-marathon loop and 9K out and back run beginning and ending at Schumacher Tree Farm in Battle Ground, Washington. On paved country roads, the routes highlight the gorgeous scenery of north Clark County: rolling hills, rural landscapes, and views of Mt. St. Helens.
